Welcome to the end of Week 8 of Term 3.
This week a number of us from the Leadership Team attended the Annual Conference for Catholic Deputy Principals. It is always a wonderful opportunity to catch up with some of the wonderful things Catholic secondary schools are doing in Victoria, especially since this was the first gathering since 2019.
A reminder that we will have Parent/Student/Teacher Learning Conversations for Years 7-11 next week: Wednesday 7th September from 3.30pm-6.30pm and Thursday 8th September 12.00pm-8.00pm. These will be online, with the PTOnline information having already been sent to parents.
There will be no classes on Thursday 8th September, due to the Learning Conversation.
Coming events for the home diary include the School Concert in the Springvale Town Hall at 7.30pm on Monday 12th September. Queries to kaddis@killester.vic.edu.au There is also a Year 7 Personal Development Day on Tuesday 13th September. Queries to mkennedy@killester.vic.edu.au
Friday 16th September is the final day of Term 3 and it is also Brigidine Day, with wonderful activities being organised by the Year Level teams and students. The day will conclude at the normal time of 3.05pm.
Amazingly, the Year 12s are nearing completion of their internal assessment tasks for 2022. It has been wonderful for it to be a lockdown-free final year for them. Information regarding their Graduation and final celebrations will follow shortly. Also, their Year 12 Hoodies arrived last week and they have been delighted to be wearing them on the continuing cooler mornings.
A reminder that Term 4 commences on MONDAY October 3rd.
Day 2 of Term, Tuesday 4th October, is photo day for school teams. Students will be advised if they are required for any of the photos.
With best wishes
