Term 3 Wonder

One of the Year 7 and 8 wonder groups is about the British architectural show Grand design’s, starring Kevin McCloud. The Year 7’s and 8’s have been making Pavilions, a place to get together, such as bars, cafes and a library. But they have gone for much wider pavilion ideas to get inspired from, to put in places all across Victoria, that the students are familiar with, such as Springvale.

The groups consist of 1-3 students and they have made many things that come into the part about what is so beneficial about their pavilion. Such as a map to see how popular the area is in addition to thumbprint models made of cardboard, straws, and other miscellaneous items. However, their final model to present is constructed using materials provided or using technologies such as Google Sketchup or Tinkercad.
