LEARNING AT LILYDALE

MEET BARKLEY

Recently, Ms Robbins (Wellbeing Coordinator) and Barkley proudly passed Therapy training. Barkley will now be a regular visitor at Student Services.

The return of 'Walkie Talkies' with Barkley

Students are invited during lunchtime on a Wednesday to go for a walk around Lillydale Lake with the Wellbeing Team and Barkley.

Students will return to school in time for their Period 5 class.

This event requires parental permission. Students can email Candice in Student Services to register their interest: Candice.Richards@education.vic.gov.au

DAISY DONUTS

Daisy joined our family only 3 days ago and has proved to be confident in her step and an intrepid adventuress. She is a mini Groodle: Golden retriever and Poodle. She will probably grow to about 45 cm in height.

8E had been hearing about Daisy's arrival for the last 2 weeks and some of the students such as Byron, Charlie and Shya were able to finally meet her today.

Her puppy pram started to look like a pretty good idea after the big walk around the old PAC, and an even better idea by P4 when the temperature dropped to freezing and the hail began to pelt down. Time to snuggle down, she thought to herself.

8E STUDENTS

"Where did the time go?" said Charlie Hartley-Boyes.

Suddenly the academic year is over for 8E and it all seems to have gone by so fast.  We celebrated with lots of cake, cookies and hugs, and great results.

We progressed academically and socially as a wonderful cohesive, sometimes a little crazy, group of people.

I promised to be at this group's Valedictory in Year 12 as I am excited about their journey and where it will take them. All the best 8E!
