Artist in Residence

On Tuesday our Artist in Residence began painting a large scale mural with students on the Technology building facing the ring road. During each lesson, four to five students are withdrawn to assist Glen and make their mark on the mural. This event celebrates 20 years of our program.

The mural design was envisioned using student submissions, developed ideas during four full day workshops. It depicts change, change in our environment, from farm to suburban Greenvale, incorporating the use of technology at its core. For now, here is a sneak peak of the first stage, blocking in, and students at work. The final mural will be very detailed and as a work in progress, difficult to envisage as an image at this point. I look forward to sharing the final artwork with you shortly but don’t want to ruin the surprise.
