We have had an amazing couple of weeks; I want to say a big thank you to our wonderful volunteers who have help shape and make these events possible.

Fun Run 2022!
We did it we raised $22,909.00!!
So you know what the means: the Prep teachers were all slimed.
How lucky were we that the sun come out shiny for the Fun Run that was held on Sunday 13 November? We had more than 250 people participate on the day and enjoy the fun actives. Kelly sport was a winner with an amazing active zone area they set up for everyone young and old to participate. The crowd got to get their fighting sprit on with Halls Taekwondo showing everyone how to kick and punch. Thanks to Elite Partyz for sourcing the jumping castle and face painters.
We would like to give a big shout to Ariana C in Fairview for being our highest raising student who raised over $3,595.00!
Let's give a big congratulations and thank you to our highest fundraisers from Cumberland Himaya C and from Dunhelen Robbie M. To show our appreciation you will be receiving a voucher. ENJOY!
To everyone who participated and raised funds, thank you and a big thank you to our fabulous prep teachers who not only got slimed but who were out there running or helping on the stamping and water stations.
Last note: The prize window is now closed and all prizes have been ordered. An email will be sent out letting you know when your prizes will be ready to collect.
Fairview Dance Party
The students of Fairview had such a great time getting their glow sticks and snacks and dancing the night away! The Fairview Dance party is a great way for kids to get all dressed up and have fun with all their friends!
PS: I think the teachers and volunteers we re having just as much fun.
Parents & Friends Annual General Meeting (AGM)
The Parents and Friends Association Annual General Meeting is scheduled for Monday 28 November at 7.30pm
The Election of Office Bearers of the Association and Committee Members takes place at the AGM.
Detailed information has been emailed to parent with a nomination forms. We are looking forward to welcoming new members who will bring new and exciting ideas to the committee for 2023.
Pre-Loved Uniform Sale
Our upcoming Pre-loved Uniform sale will be held on Thursday 8 December 2022 in VCE 1. The sale starts at 2:30pm and we will be there until 4.00pm.
If you have Aitken College uniform items at home that are no longer in use and are in wearable condition, we would love to have them. The Parents and Friends Association clean and iron the donated uniform items and re-sell them at our quarterly Pre-loved Uniform sales with all the funds going back to the Parents and Friends Association fundraising account. The items can be dropped off in our clothing bin near main Reception. Please remember that the items need to be in a wearable condition and we do not have a market for re-sale on Aitken College socks.
