EXAMS

Congratulations to all the students who are undertaking external performance exams at the present moment. VCE Music Performance and Music Investigation exams have been taking place since the beginning of Term 4, and all students have ensured that they have presented the best material that they could.

AMEB instrumental exams for most instruments are taking place through the next few weeks and the students have demonstrated their ongoing commitment to improving their tone and technique. Well done to all students.

PERCUSSION NIGHT

Congratulations to all the percussion students who took part in the amazing Percussion Night on Thursday 24 October. Mr Golovko remarked that it was fantastic and that the students’ preparation was outstanding. Thanks to all the students for their preparation leading up to this event.

YEAR 11 MUSIC PERFORMANCE NIGHT

Congratulations to the Year 11 Music Performance students who demonstrated their growing capabilities at their performance night on Tuesday 29 October. Thank you to Mr Kurowski and all their instrumental teachers who have worked with these students in preparing them over the year.

REHEARSALS

A reminder that both Symphonic Wind and Orchestra are holding rehearsals throughout Term 4 for 2020. Symphonic Wind rehearsal is 3:30pm Monday afternoons, and Orchestra is 3:30pm on Thursday afternoons. New students to both these rehearsals are encouraged to attend.

CONGRATULATIONS

Congratulations to Karen took the Kids (Kyla Fanstone, Clancy Brett, Lucy Robertson-Reid and Jonathan Pardo) who performed on Wednesday 30 October, and to the Year 10 Music class who performed on Friday 1 November. There was a lot of joy and fantastic music at both gigs. Thanks to the student team and Mr Kurowski for the ongoing development of this program.
