From the Principal

Nicholas Boyhan

Dear Parents and Carers,

What a great day we have had today!  We were thrilled with the fantastic turnout for our Mother's Day festivities today.

Sixty mums and grandmas joined their children in the SPA Centre for a delicious breakfast prepared for them by the Teachers, Learning Support Officers and School Leaders.  They enjoyed granola, yoghurt, fruit platters, pastries, pancakes, muffins and a range of other delicious treats.  The breakfast was followed by a brief liturgy and then fun classroom activities.

Thanks to all our guests who joined us and to our Master Chefs who worked so hard to put together such an amazing feast.

ANZAC Ceremony

On Wednesday 10 May the Year Six students represented St Joseph's at the ANZAC Ceremony at the Upper Yarra RSL.  They laid crosses and a wreath and observed a solemn ceremony commemorating military servicemen and women who have served and those who have died.

No Buses on Friday May 26th

Upper Yarra Secondary College will be having a student-free afternoon on Friday May 26th.  Students from St Joseph's will need to make alternative arrangements to get home on Friday May 26th. The bus will be running as normal in the morning.

Best wishes to the Mums for Sunday.  Hope you all have a great Mother's Day.

Nick.
