Basketball State Champions

Intermediate Boys Basketball Team Win State Championship!

On Monday, 18 November, the Intermediate Boys Basketball Team won the State Championship for Inter-School Sport!

The boys beat Berwick College in the final by eight points. The team was a great reflection of our school in terms of their play and sportsmanship.

Below is a record of their achievements over the last three years. A pretty impressive list for a school team with no formal basketball program!

2019 (Year 10):

- 3 x 3 Championships: 1st in the state

- Victorian College Championships: 2nd in the state

- Inter-School Sport: 1st in the state

2018 (Year 9):

- Australian School Championship: 2nd in the country

- Victorian College Championships: 2nd in the state

- Inter-School Sport: 2nd in the state

2017 (Year 8):

- Australian School Championship: 2nd in the country

- Inter-School Sport: 2nd in the state

2019 (Year 10) is the last year the boys will compete at these competitions, before they move on to focusing on VCE, so this is the perfect chance to congratulate them on their achievements over the last few years.
