Origami Making

On Friday 12th March ISP students made origami at lunchtime in the Library. There were a small number of students who joined the activities. They learned how to make a crane and a heart.  It was a good opportunity for ISP students to communicate with other students of GEC.

International Women's Day

It was so nice to see the library walls covered with speech bubbles that students completed about an inspiring woman to observe International Women's Day on Tuesday 9th March. So lovely to see so many students write about their mums and other influential women throughout history. Thank you to the librarians and the SRC for their collaboration on this project.

World’s Greatest Shave

Hi, My name is Lucas Nenke from Year 9. In Year 5, I started growing my hair and then I read somewhere that I can donate my hair for the World’s Greatest Shave. The World’s Greatest Shave is a charity organisation that gives families facing blood cancer the emotional and practical support they need. Every day another 47 Australians are diagnosed with a blood cancer. That’s one Aussie every 31 minutes and sadly, one Aussie dies from blood cancer every two hours. Please sponsor me through the link down below

Any amount, big or small, will be helpful for the ones in need.

Thank you so much.
