Policy reminder

Heathmont College is proud of its ability to ensure a safe space is provided for students to thrive in. One of the levers utilised to keep our school functioning at such a fun and vibrant level is the consistent use and review of Policies. These Policies can be found on our website, and undergo review by our School Council amongst other stakeholders.

Throughout the upcoming editions of the Gazette, we'll be featuring a few of the significant policies. Should you wish to submit any feedback, please feel free to email heathmont.co@education.vic.gov.au

Student Supervision before and after school

Heathmont College’s grounds are supervised by school staff from 8.30am until 3.25pm. Outside of these hours, school staff will not be available to supervise students except by prior arrangement.

Before school (8.30 – 8.55am), the front of the school and courtyards will be monitored by staff. 

Nourish breakfast club is also available to all students each morning in the Hope Centre (or Stadium cafe when otherwise unavailable) from 8:30 – 8:55am.After school the bus stop on Waters Grove is supervised by staff from 3:00 – 3:25pm or until the last bus departs.

Students who wish to attend school outside of these hours are encouraged to sign in and out on Compass at the front office, using their Compass card. 

The front office is staffed from 8.00am until 4.30pm.
