On Monday 13th October 13 students headed to Knox Athletics Track for EMR Track and Field. The weather didn’t know if it wanted to rain, hail or shine but we were grateful the rain clouds held together for the duration of the event.
All 13 students competed at a high level and did the school and themselves proud. The Athletics culture is strong at Heathmont.

EMR Year 8 girls volleyball.
The amazing year 8 volleyball girls competed at EMR volleyball Monday 27th October. These girls are weapons and if they stay together over the next few years combining with some Inter girls they could be unstoppable.
Beating Monbulk a Volleyball school in their own right the girls were pumped. Next up were another two volleyball schools Upwey and Glen Waverley. Though not winning on the score board the competitiveness these girls had to match it with both schools was amazing. They should be very proud of themselves.
