Maffra Fire Brigade At the annual VFBV Firefighter State Championships held in Mooroopna, Maffra SC students represented in the Maffra Fire Brigade. Maffra placed 1st in the Under 14 wet hose striking second disc. Also 1st place in Under 14 Y coupling and only missing out on beating the record set in 1979 by less than a second. The Under 14s placed 3rd overall for the weekend in the State, only 2 points behind 1st place. Maffra Secondary students included Kye Bence, Kobe Parsons, Tyler Schoenmaekers and Kristin Murphy.
