Wellington Tracks and Trails project & poster

The exciting Wellington Tracks & Trails project aims to encourage people to explore the many beautiful outdoor tracks and trails in The Middle of Everywhere and engage with nature. We ask people to walk a track or trail in the months of February and March, scan the QR code and complete a survey for a chance to win prizes – great prizes! Participating locations include Lake Guthridge & Guyatt Parklands, Sale River Heritage & Wetlands Trail, Flooding Creek Linear Park, and many others. We hope that this initiative helps people rekindle their love of the outdoors and to try a new trail.

GPAC - Special Easter Holiday Workshop - great for ASD students and social skills

The Gippsland Performing Arts Centre (GPAC) have programmed a special Comedy Workshop for ages 13 to 17 over the Easter Holidays. This workshop is great for kids, but especially helpful for young people with ASD. It is also wonderful for helping develop and scaffold social skills. Quirky Comedy is a fun, imaginative workshop, where the learning and social interaction is highly structured and very specific. Tickets are only $5, but if any family is struggling and needs assistance, they could reach out to me directly. Would it be possible to forward this information to teachers and parents through your networks? The workshop is: Wednesday April 3, Quirky Comedy Workshop, 1pm to 3pm for ages 13 – 17 (18) Parents can book by visiting the webpage: Quirky Comedy Workshop | Latrobe City Council Or the Box Office: 03 5176 3333.
