Hello Friends! 

Here we are already halfway through 2026 and what an amazing half year it has been so far. 

A reminder that the Premiers Reading Challenge is still underway. All students should be adding their books read to the challenge and remember to check our RC catalogue for books that are included in the challenge. 

ID cards are now available and are the preferred method for borrowing your books from the RC. Please make sure you always have it on you.

I am still adding Free Books for students to take and add to their home collections, so check out the Free Book shelf during recess or lunch. 

Yes, you can Borrow for the Holidays! These books will then be due when school recommences in Term 3. Please remember that the books you borrow are your responsibility and no one else’s. You are responsible for getting books back to the RC on time, so your fellow school mates can also enjoy their brilliance. Please notify RC staff if you have lost your book.

IT update – our Department assigned Systems Technician Tomas, is now here Monday, Tuesday and Wednesdays. He will be available to help students with their IT issues, before and after school, and during recess and lunch breaks. Say hi next time you are in the RC.

Hey everyone, I’m Tom. I’m currently the ST for Brinbeal and I’m excited to be working with you all. I’ve been working in schools for a few years now, and outside of work I’m usually racing bikes or volunteering as a firefighter in Werribee. Feel free to come over and say hi or have a chat anytime!

You may have noticed that the RC has been rearranged yet again! This is to make room for all the amazing books that are still coming in. Please take note of the signage when looking for your books. It is highly likely that the RC will continue to be rearranged as the collection and the school grows.
