Student of the Month

May & June

As part of our acknowledgement of students who are representing our College Values, we will be presenting Student of the Month awards to students we believe have best represented the values during each month.

7A - Srihit Gautam (May)

Srihit consistently demonstrates a strong passion for learning and approaches every lesson with enthusiasm and determination. He regularly shows initiative by volunteering answers and asking thoughtful questions. In addition to his commitment to his own learning, Srihit is a kind and supportive class member who is always willing to help his peers.

7A - Christina Sam (June)

Christina is a hardworking and dedicated student who consistently puts her best effort into all learning activities. She is always willing to answer questions, participate in class discussions, and contribute positively to the learning environment.

7B - Aadya Burra (May)

I would like to nominate Aadya Burra as Student of the Month for May for consistently demonstrating the college value of Respect. Aadya treats her teachers and classmates with kindness, listens carefully to others, and contributes positively to the classroom environment. She follows instructions, supports her peers and approaches her learning with a mature and respectful attitude.

7B - Yashbir Chahil (June)

I would like to nominate Yashbir Chahil as Student of the Month for June for consistently demonstrating the college value of Acceptance. Yashbir is welcoming, inclusive and respectful towards others. He values different ideas and perspectives, supports his classmates and helps create a positive environment where everyone feels included. His kind and accepting attitude makes him an excellent role model for other students.

7C - Ash Ghuliani (May)

Ash always sets high expectations for herself. She is constantly asking for feedback and how to improve on her work. Her aspiration not only lifts herself up but also the others around her. 

 

 

7C - Vivian Leos (June)

Vivian is a quiet achiever. This month he has put a great amount of effort in both the classroom and the gym. He is always pushing himself to do his best. Keep up the great work Vivian!

 

 

 

7D - Samdeesh Raj (May)

Gallery Image

Samdeesh demonstrated a strong understanding of cell structure and the functions of each organelle by creating a well-built and detailed cell model. His work reflected excellent effort, creativity, and scientific knowledge. He was able to clearly explain the role of each organelle and how they work together to support the cell's functioning. Samdeesh approached the task with enthusiasm, demonstrating his understanding and commitment to learning. 

7D - Srimaan Sanjog Kyatham (June)

Srimaan always engages well in our Humanities class discussions. His inquisitive nature questions interesting scenarios and challenges case studies explored in our Civics and Citizenship unit. Srimaan is respectful in sharing his voice in the classroom while also being attentive to the responses from his peers and teachers.

7E - Nashith Khan (May)

Nashith has inspired me as an adult he has embraced learning in my classroom and taken to the lessons asking for help when required, doing additional homework because he can see that its helping him improve his numeracy skills.  He encourages his classmate and is an excellent role model and as a result his class mates skills are improving.  He always shows up and tries his best even when he isn't well.  Well done Nashith awesome attitude.

7E - Bhavita Kadali (June)

Bhavita is always inquisitive, enthusiastic, and endeavours to achieve. She and her friends are often spotted helping each other and it is a joy to see in class. Bhavita has shown time and again the values of aspiration and resilience. Her never-give-up attitude is an inspiration for us all. 

7F - Elham Baltagi (May)

Congratulations to Elham on the wonderful growth she has shown in her studies this Semester. She has worked hard to improve her learning and has proudly represented our school at a number of events. Elham's positive attitude and commitment are to be commended. Well done, Elham!

7F - Avreet Kaur (June)

Avreet has been an exceptional student who consistently demonstrates dedication, maturity, and a positive attitude towards learning. She has made a valuable contribution to the Year 7 Mentor Group, showing leadership, kindness, and a willingness to support others. Avreet is a wonderful role model within our school community, and her efforts are highly appreciated.

7G - Abdul Najeeb (May)

Abdul consistently demonstrates kindness and respect. He is always willing to help others, completes work on time, and contribute positively to the classroom. His friendly and positive attitude makes him a valued member of our class and a strong example of our school values.

7G - Gunseerat Randhawa (June)

Gunseerat is a consistent and hardworking learner who listens carefully to instructions, completes tasks on time, and participates positively in class. She shows good engagement by asking questions to support their understanding and learning.

 

7H - Navroz Ghuman (May)

Navroz has consistently demonstrated all college values, in particular Achievement. She is always very focused and striving to do her best. She has shown growing confidence in contributing to class discussions and asking for teacher feedback, and has even taken on extra English work outside of class. Great work!

7H - Sangya Bohara (June)

Sangya is a respectful student who always completes her work to a high standard. She often goes beyond expectations and always tries her best in every task.

 

 

7I - Shanaya Kang (May)

Shanaya is a kind and respectful student who is always willing to help others. She is always prepared  for learning and is willing to seek help when needed. Shanaya shows empathy to others and can always be counted on to calm and brighten class.

 

7I - Wazdi Joarder (June)

Tegbir displays consistency in his effort, achievement as well as class participation at all times. He is very helpful to others and shows excellence in written responses. Tegbir displays qualities of a role model to his classmates by showing preparedness in learning and striving for achievement. 

7J - Divjot Kaur (May)

She is always ready to learn, works independently, and approaches challenges with persistence, often trying to solve problems on her own before seeking assistance. 7J - Amaira Randhawa (June)

Amaira is always focused, dedicated and organised, and generous with her help she gives to her friends.

7K - Prisha Patel (May)

Prisha consistently demonstrates kindness, responsibility, and a genuine willingness to support others. She regularly goes out of her way to assist classmates who need help, offering guidance and encouragement without hesitation. Her positive attitude, caring nature, and commitment to helping others make her a valued member of the class community and a deserving recipient of Student of the Month.

7K - Aryan Amin (June)

I am so proud of how far Aryan has come this year, she has practiced her maths skills every night which has seen her numeracy skills improve greatly.  She arrives on time to every class with all her books and equipment, is always polite, respectful and a delight to teach.  It is so lovely to see her smiling and confidence growing as the year progresses.  Well done Aryan, you should be very proud of yourself.

7L - Fatima Doha (May)

7L - Samuel Tela (June)

Samuel has been putting in a lot of effort into his HAPE assessments, and has been able to complete all to a high standard. Samuel has been consistently attending school and does not miss any content which helps him to achieve top marks. Well done Samuel.

7M - Diya Diya (May)

Diya is always showing that she is determined to learn and challenge herself in every lesson. She approaches every task head on and is not afraid to ask for help when needed. Even when missing lessons, Diya takes initiative to catch up on the work she has missed out on to not fall behind. Diya always shows respect to those around her, most notably her teachers who she always respectfully greets before every lesson or when seeing them out on yard duty.

7M - Harleen Kaur (June)

Harleen is a deserving recipient of Student of the Month for consistently demonstrating a positive attitude towards learning. She is always ready to learn, works independently, and approaches challenges with persistence, often trying to solve problems on her own before seeking assistance. Her reliability, responsibility, kindness, and respect towards others make her a valued member of the classroom community.

8A - Shayaan Dhillon (May)

Shayaan always takes his Humanities learning seriously and looks for opportunities to challenge himself, deepen his historical thinking and learn more about other people and places. He shares thoughtful and honest ideas, responds positively to feedback and shows a strong growth mindset. This term Shayaan has also made a real effort to support his classmates and contribute in a constructive way, helping others to learn as well as continuing to grow himself.

8A - Pawanjot Sidhu (June)

Pawan has worked very hard on his historical writing and thinking in Humanities this term. He is becoming more confident in explaining his ideas clearly and has shown a lot of growth. Pawan always brings a positive mindset, listens to feedback, and keeps trying - even when the work is a bit challenging.

8B - Noelani Asiata (May)

During our Polynesian seafaring activity in Humanities this term, Noelani took on a leadership role to help plan and run an interactive demonstration for the class. She made sure other students co-hosting the activity were included, listened carefully to their ideas and helped the group work confidently together. Noelani also went a step further by explaining key ideas and helping classmates understand the purpose of the activity, so they could get the most out of this class.

8B - Aubrey Ulukini (June)

During the Google Earth project, Aubrey generously shared stories and knowledge from her family and cultural background to help bring her group’s research on Samoa to life. Her contribution helped students build a deeper understanding of the people and places they were researching and created a more thoughtful and respectful learning experience for the whole class.

8C - Caitlan Toon (May)

Caitlan has been a diligent learner, a respectful study mate, and a supportive leader in the class. The student has helped teachers organize and manage the classroom and facilitate wellbeing discussions.

 

8C - Indiana Murray (June)

Indi has been so consistent with her efforts in Maths, she is bringing all the correct equipment, opens her book without being instructed to do so, actively engaged in all discussions.

 

 

8D - Yaksh Patel (May)

Yaksh consistently work hard amidst distractions and always strive for the best. His contribution to class discussions have been valuable and he has been a strong member in group situations.

 

 

8D - Haya Khan (June)

Haya only started learning Chinese this year. But in just a few months, she has mastered a wide range of vocabulary and sentence structures. She never gives up when learning something new and always puts in her best effort. Her dedication and positive attitude have helped her achieve excellent results in all Chinese assessments.    Haya is always showing a positive attitude in classroom activities and going above and beyond to ask questions in class, help other students and showing aspiration to consistently improve in her work. 

8E - Sameeha Iqbal (May)

This student consistently works hard in class, is always respectful of her teacher and others learning, she asks how her understanding can be deepened after completing her work.

8E - Janelle Acheampong (June)

8F - Samara Garg (May)

Samara always aspires for greatness in her learning. Samara will complete her work and ask for more so that she is prepared for the assessment and to have a firm grasp of the content. Samara is constantly trying to expand her understanding by making connections with other topics, ideas and even subjects.

8F - Kyle Catoy (June)

For being a positive and respectful presence in the classroom. Kyle consistently participates in lessons, shows respect towards others, listens carefully to instructions and brings a calm and friendly attitude that contributes positively to the learning environment.   Kyle has shown great commitment to his learning during the drugs and alcohol unit consistently applying himself to a high degree which was reflected in the above standard mark he received during the test. Well done.

8G - Riley Mataga (May)

Riley is a leader within our class. She shows a high level of aspiration throughout all aspects of her schooling, both in the classroom and in extra curricula activities. She will always volunteer to help out, whether it's reading to the class, running a warm up in PE or answering a question, she's the first to put her hand up. 

8G - Japji Saini (June)

Japji is a deserving recipient of Student of the Month for consistently demonstrating a positive attitude towards learning. She is always ready to learn, works independently, and approaches challenges with persistence. Her responsibility, kindness, and respect towards others make her a valued member of the classroom community.

8H - Mannat Kaur (May)

Mannat has participated fully in every class, showing both respect and aspiration through her attention, focus and through seeking feedback and aiming to improve consistently. 

8H - Shay Young (June)

Shay demonstrates great respect for himself and fellow class members, always showing great aspiration to be the best he possibly can be, along with wanting to make other students better around him. Shay has a great quality of always being selfless.

 

8I - Uzma Ulfah Mohd Rizal (May)

Uzma regularly offers to help her Humanities classmates who have been absent by sharing her notes and helping them catch up on any missed tasks . During group activities, she consistently makes an effort to include others, listen to their ideas, and make sure they feel heard. Uzma's respect and kindness really make our classroom feel inclusive, safe, and happy. 

8I - Aayan Braganza (June)

Aayan shows the highest level of competance in every task he completes. Aayan consistently demonstrates our core values and attitudes towards learning, which sets a standard among his peers and drives the quality of learning within his class. When a new student joined the class, Aayan made a genuine effort to include her in the group project and made sure she had a clear and meaningful role. He supported her throughout the task and helped her feel confident enough to contribute her best during the presentation. His kindness and inclusive approach made a real difference.

8J - Hiya Patel (May)

8J - Samaaha Dubuly (June)

Samaaha has been an examplary student, working and keeping abreast of all tasks even during her absence. She has worked to a very high standard in completing her assessment task on a polynesioan nation and presented a great peice of work.

 

8K - Tanzila Tabassum (May)

Tanzila consistently stays focused on her learning and has made steady progress to improve her knowledge and skills throughout the year. In English, she has successfully written a number of poetry pieces that she presented to the class. 

 

8K - Arisha Khan (June)

She is always ready to learn, works independently, and approaches challenges with persistence, often trying to solve problems on her own before seeking assistance. Her reliability, responsibility, kindness, and respect towards others make her a valued member of the classroom community.

8L - Alierose Mitchell (May)

Alierose has demonstrated outstanding effort and skill in PE over the past month, showing a willingness to take on feedback and help her peers out during netball sessions.

8L - Emily Cannon (June)

Emily Cannon is a positive member of the class who consistently engages in learning activities and contributes positively to discussions. She often seeks feedback in Visual Arts to refine and strengthen her artwork. Emily sets high expectations for herself and is motivated to keep improving. She is also supportive of her peers and happy to assist others once she has completed her own work.

9A - Cicilia Moala (May)

Cicilia has shown a great level of involvement during our AFL and Rugby units. Her willingness to engage in all activities has lead to great skill development. She has shown a high level of tactical awareness in both games, helping her teams to achieve their best. Additionally, she has used her skill to support other students who are still developing. Keep it up Cicilia!

9A - Lina Halimeh (June)

Lina has shown great engagement this month, both in the classroom and in practical's. She was able to work effectively with teammates to execute a strategic play during our rugby game. Within the classroom she has shown a great amount of passion towards her assessment task topic.

9B - Harssh Goswami (May)

Harssh takes his Journalism work seriously, aims high, and always encourages peers to make the most of the opportunities offered in class. He often reminds our class about the importance of journalistic ethics, keeping our promises, and producing work we can be proud of. His enthusiasm,  values, and high expectations have made a positive difference to our class.

9B - Jenna Elshomouny (June)

Jenna has done such an amazing effort on keeping up to date with all her humanities work. It is great to see the dedication to her education. Keep up the amazing work Jenna, you are a star.

9C - Aeden McCartney (May)

Aeden demonstrates a positive attitude toward his learning and contributes to the classroom discussions. He always completes his work to the best of his ability.

9C -  Tristan Acebu (June)

Tristan is resilient, hardworking, and always tries his best in Velocity Lab. He stays positive when tasks are challenging and keeps working to improve. He takes part in activities and shows determination in his learning. Tristan sets a great example for others through his effort and commitment every lesson.

9D - Amanveer Gill (May)

Amanveer consistently demonstrates a positive work ethic and a respectful attitude in English classes. He puts his best effort into completing assigned tasks and is willing to take risks in his learning. Amanveer prepared an impressive speech and presented it confidently to the class.

9D - Alicia Helena Eberle (June)

Alicia has shown great improvement in showing respect college value by helping the teacher to clean the classroom, following teachers' instructions all the time, and helping her peers with various questions. 

 

9E - Levi Joseph (May)

Levi worked hard within his AFL unit to lead his class in both physical activities and lead the class in the respectful relationships learning. He also was an important member of the year 9 soccer team which he worked hard to support his peers on game day.

9E - Mehakpreet Kaur (June)

Mehakpreet consistently demonstrates respect towards others and completes classroom tasks to a good standard. She maintains a positive attitude to learning and contributes positively to the classroom environment.

 

9F - Rasman Khatgar (May)

Rasman is being recognised for her responsible attitude, positive growth in social relationships, and active participation in both academic and extracurricular activities. She consistently demonstrates commitment, enthusiasm, and a willingness to contribute to the school community.

9F - Roba Yusuf (June)

Roba  is being recognised for his consistent effort and positive engagement in class and extracurricular activities. He works well with peers, demonstrates a strong work ethic, and contributes positively to the wider school community through his involvement and attitude.

9G - Matthew Salim (May)

Matthew shows great enthusiasm and a positive attitude towards his learning in class and consistently tries his best with all allocated tasks. He also challenges himself by undertaking extension activities in Mathematics, demonstrating a willingness to extend his thinking and develop his problem-solving skills.

9G - Fevelyn Baco (June)

Fevelyn is an excellent student who consistently shows a strong interest in her learning and always puts in her best effort in everything she does. She approaches her studies with a positive attitude and is always willing to challenge herself to achieve her best.

9H - Jonehri Jose (May)

Jonehri has done a remarkable job in keeping up to date with all of his work in Humanities. He would email when he needed extra support or to hand in any unfinished class work. Jonehri has always been polite and respectful to all his peers and myself as his teacher. Keep up the great work.

9H - Jack Doolan (June)

Jack shows respect in science by listening to the teacher and his peers. He engages respectfully in class discussions, focuses on his work and allows others to learn through collaboration in group work. Consistent effort, well done!

 

9I - Huzaifah Mohammed (May)

This award celebrates this Huzaifah's dedication and positive influence in the Velocity Lab. He consistently puts in his best effort while generously supporting classmates to understand new concepts. Huzaifah's teamwork, and willingness to help others make him an invaluable part of the class and a deserving recipient of Student of the Month. Huzaifah always shows positive attitude toward learning and actively participates in class discussions. 

9I - Zaid Khan (June)

Zaid followed instructions throughout the Visual Arts lesson and showed good effort in completing work in his Visual Diary.

 

 

 

9J - Prabhnoor Singh (May)

Prabhnoor has been demonstrating consistency in learning, having high expectations for himself while respecting the learning environment by helping the teacher maintain positive engagement in class. 

 

9J - Bibek Grewal (June)

Bibek has grown significantly in his confidence. He has demonstrated resilience and a growth mindset when taking on the challenge of accepting a larger role in our performance. He works hard on his tasks and is positive in his participation.
