Dear Parents and Carers,
As we reach the end of another busy and rewarding term, I would like to thank our students, staff and families for their ongoing support, enthusiasm and commitment throughout Semester 1. It has been a wonderful six months filled with learning, growth, leadership opportunities and memorable experiences that continue to strengthen our vibrant Le Page community.
Our students have embraced every opportunity to learn, challenge themselves and demonstrate our school values. Across every classroom, teachers have worked tirelessly to provide engaging learning experiences while supporting every child to achieve their personal best. It has been pleasing to see students setting goals, monitoring their progress and celebrating their improvement journey as confident learners and leaders.
Semester 1 has been filled with many highlights. Students have enjoyed exciting excursions and incursions that have brought learning to life. Our Student Lighthouse Team has continued to lead with confidence, giving students a genuine voice in school decision-making and helping organise events that strengthen our school culture.
Our Foundation students have settled beautifully into school life and have quickly become valued members of the Le Page community. Throughout the school, students have continued to build their confidence through classroom leadership roles, public speaking opportunities, performing arts, music and sporting achievements. We are incredibly proud of the resilience, kindness and determination our students demonstrate each day.
None of these successes would be possible without our exceptional staff. Their passion, professionalism and unwavering commitment to every child's success continue to make Le Page Primary School such a special place to learn. I would also like to sincerely thank our families for the partnerships we share. When home and schoolwork together, our students thrive.
Throughout this term, our students have practiced synergizing - working together to achieve more than we could alone. Synergy teaches us that everyone's strengths are different, and by valuing those differences, listening respectfully and collaborating with others, we create stronger ideas, stronger friendships and stronger communities. This habit reminds us that success is rarely achieved by one person alone. Whether working together in the classroom, supporting one another on the sporting field, performing on stage or solving problems as a team, our students have demonstrated that the best outcomes come when we combine our talents and encourage one another.
As Helen Keller wisely said:
"Alone we can do so little; together we can do so much."
This quote perfectly captures the spirit of Le Page Primary School and the importance of working together as students, staff and families to help every child flourish.
As Semester 1 ends, I encourage everyone to take time during the school holidays to rest, recharge and enjoy special moments with family and friends. We look forward to welcoming everyone back refreshed and ready for another exciting semester filled with new opportunities to learn, grow and lead.
Thank you once again for your continued support of Le Page Primary School. Together, we continue to identify the talent, develop the confidence and create the leader in every student.
Wishing all our families a safe, relaxing and enjoyable holiday break.
