Brinbeal's Got Talent

Well done to all participants that performed at the Brinbeal’s Got Talent event on Wednesday 5th November.

Our 2024 winner – Claire played piano for us as we entered and exited the Community Hub. The Brinbeal Band played the song: On Top of the World. And every contestant showcased their amazing talents in front of the whole school. There was singing, dancing, magic tricks, hula hooping, poetry and more.

Congratulations to the top 3 acts!  In third place was Walid performing a dance and hula hoop routine. In second place was Anvitha and Hazel performing a dance. And in first place was Matthew performing magic card tricks.

In preparation for Brinbeal’s Got Talent, we received great assistance from our teachers in order to refine our act. Overall, the experience was something new and refreshing and it helped us learn more about each other as we prepared for it.

Performing in the Brinbeal Band was enjoyable. I had fun practicing with my band mates. I was a bit nervous; it was my second time performing. But overall, I enjoyed performing in front of people, it boosted my confidence in singing. I can see an improvement in my singing voice, I noticed I wasn’t as nervous as last year.

I saw consistent improvement in all my band rehearsals, the band members made lots of improvements too. I felt ecstatic after band practices. In my opinion, performing wasn’t that nerve wracking. I had a great time because I had experience performing on drums at my previous school, and it was similar for this school and this performance.
