Smoothie Bike

On a memorable day in March, Wellbeing was buzzing with energy as students flocked down to take part in our Smoothie Bike and Blindfolded Food Tasting Challenge as part of Healthy Lunchbox Week.
With over 60 students coming through the space across lunchtime, the line for the Smoothie Bike stretched right out the door! Students eagerly jumped on the bike to power their own smoothies using nothing but their legs, blending up delicious combinations of fruit while learning how easy (and fun) healthy choices can be.
Alongside the Smoothie Bike, students also took on the Blindfolded Food Tasting Challenge, where they had to rely on their tastebuds to guess different healthy foods. There were plenty of laughs, surprised reactions, and a few incorrect guesses along the way!
The atmosphere in Wellbeing was chaotic but energetic, with students cheering each other on, waiting their turn to ride the bike, and getting involved in the tasting activity. It was fantastic to see so many students engaged and willing to try something new.
Overall, the event was a huge success, helping students learn about Healthy Lunchbox Week in the most fun and interactive way possible. Thank you to everyone who came down and got involved!
