Principal's Report

Hello to the Healesville High School community. I hope you’ll enjoy this edition of ‘Healesville High Connections’, which is somewhat different to our regular publications. This edition is a wrap-up of the highlights of first term, and there were many.
Thank you and congratulations to students for taking up the opportunities on offer and a huge thank-you to the many staff members who make possible the experiences you’ll read about, by generous donations of their time and expertise. Camps, excursions to both local and distant locations, and special event days added so much to the regular school experience for each student who grasped the opportunity.
Our staff members really do go above and beyond. I greatly appreciate their dedication, effort and passion and you’ll read in this edition of the results of their efforts; the experiences our students have enjoyed. All that experience, effort and passion would mean little though, if our students didn’t get involved- but they do! It’s so wonderful to watch the shared enjoyment and the development of the students as they participate in such things as camps at Wilson’s Promontory, and Phillip Island, the Instrumental Music program, Koori Innovations and Creativity programs, excursions to ACMI, the Sanctuary, and Gumbuya World, involvement in Healthy Lunchbox Week and so much more.
Exhausting, educational and fun. Thanks everyone.
Best wishes,
Allan Rennick
