Cultural Diversity Week Celebrations  |  BIG FREEZE announcement

Cultural Diversity Week was held during the last week of term. The SRC worked very hard to put together fun events, including live music, origami making and a Squid Game cookie challenge.

Today, to conclude Cultural Diversity Week, we had food trucks and music performances at lunchtime and a free dress day, raising money for Frontyard Youth Services.  The total money raised was just over $330, which will go towards young people (aged 12-24) who are at risk of or are experiencing homelessness.  Everyone had a such a great day!

The SRC is also excited to announce that The Big Freeze will be held in Term 2. The Big Freeze is an event that involves your teachers and friends going down a slide into cold water to raise awareness for MND.

Some highlights from previous years include Mr Russell going down the slide as Elvis. Keep an eye out for news about voting for your teachers and how you can get involved.

Finally, remember that SRC Meetings are held fortnightly on Mondays and are open for anyone to come along. Bring along your lunch and friends!
