Music Program Opportunities

Concert band

Concert band practices every Thursday morning before school, starting at 7.30am. They have been actively preparing for the Anzac Assembly at the start of Term 2, and consist of all ages from Year 7s to Year 12s. Stage band is open to anyone!

Stage Band

Stage band practices every Thursday during lunch and focuses on jazz songs in an ensemble. Currently, they are playing Smooth Operator and Caravan. Anyone of any age is welcome to join, and the only requirement is that you play an instrument!

String Ensemble

This is a new band created and led by the fabulous Nicholas V.A. The string ensemble meets on Thursdays at lunch and is looking for new musicians to join and play some classical music. Anyone playing a stringed instrument can join!

Brass Ensemble

The brass ensemble is the newest edition of our school bands and is made up of trumpets, trombones and any other brass instrument players. They are playing songs such as the Imperial March, the Jurassic Park theme and many others. All brass instruments are welcome in this band!
