Harmony Day

Harmony Day (21st March) celebrates Australia's amazing cultural diversity. On Harmony Day, we celebrated inclusiveness, respect and a sense of belonging for all Australians, from the traditional custodians of the land to those who have come from many countries around the world.  We played some games from around the World during lunchtime, and the students had great fun joining in and winning some lollies.

FREE Parent Workshop

On Wednesday 7th May, we are hosting our first Online Parent Workshop from 7.00pm - 8.00pm in conjunction with Toolbox Education.  Our students take part in workshops with Toolbox Education (Year 7 - Emotion Regulation and Year 8 - Thinking Traps) every year, and we are so excited to be able to bring this opportunity to our parents.  This workshop will enable parents to support their young person by learning from a clinical psychologist about the common negative thought processes young people have and reinforcing the strategies you can use to challenge, fact check and redirect those thoughts.

If you would like to take part in this, and we highly encourage you to do so, please register your email address via this link, and the Zoom link will be emailed to you on the day of the event.

Breakfast Club

Don't forget about our Breakfast Club, which runs every Tuesday and Thursday morning from 8.15am to 8.45am, offering cheese toasties and fruit cups. We also have free apples available in the front office for all students, and we kindly ask that they be mindful of where they dispose of apple cores. Organic waste bins are conveniently placed throughout the school grounds, particularly in the large courtyard outside the canteen.

Maths Club

For those needing extra help, students can get assistance with Maths every Tuesday and Thursday after school from 3.15pm to 4.00pm in B1 and/or B2. Please speak to your child's Maths teacher if you would like to know more.

If you would like to arrange wellbeing support for your child with one of our counsellors or our provisional psychologist, please contact me or the Director of the relevant sub-school/coordinator.

We can also support families with access to books and uniforms through State Schools Relief and the Les Twentyman Foundation.  Again, please contact myself or your child’s Director of Sub-school/coordinator to let them know which items you require.

Warm regards
