YEAR 9 OUTDOOR EDUCATION

An excellent group of students from the Year 9 Outdoor Ed class journeyed to Wilsons Prom for a 2-day camp at Tidal River. On the first day, we had perfect conditions for students to develop their surfing skills while participating in a session with Offshore Surf School at Norman Beach. We then had an early dinner and hiked up Mt Oberon to watch the spectacular sunset. On the second day we experienced windier conditions, so we ventured on a hike to Tongue Point, which was out of the wind for part of the walk. Everyone experienced beautiful Prom views and developed their skills in the outdoors during the camp’s activities.
