The KSC Like Minds class became biomimicry innovators last week on their visit to Gene Technology Access Centre (GTAC). What does this involve do you ask?

They explored the anatomy and biomechanics of the human arm and then designed a prosthesis or robotic limb that would meet the needs of an individual living with a disability. This was challenging, but they gave it their best, worked brilliantly within their groups and came up with some super innovative designs. Well done!
