Term 4 - What's Been On

Over the past few weeks at TheirCare, we blasted off “Out of This World,” rolled up our sleeves as creators, explored the colourful emotions of Inside Out, got thoughtful for National Recycling Week, stepped into spooky Halloween fun, and most recently tinkered our way through Tinker Town! The children loved sculpting clay aliens and planets, designing bookmarks and magnets, and becoming mini chefs with TC-Tucker as they made confetti cupcakes, spooky gingerbread cookies, cake pops, Diwali coconut squares and even pasta sauce from scratch. Our Inside Out theme supported children to recognise and express their feelings through affirmation bracelets and group games (with very competitive Uno rounds!), while the new 5/6 playground became a favourite spot for active, imaginative play. During National Recycling Week and Tinker Town, they experimented with reusing materials in creative ways, building, inventing and problem-solving together. It has been a busy, fun and imaginative few weeks of learning, creating and connecting!

COMING UP - Summer Holiday Program!

These summer holidays at TheirCare Boroondara Park, we’re gearing up for a jam-packed program of creativity, tinkering and summer fun! Across the weeks, children will dive into hands-on making and building projects, join in high-energy group games and outdoor challenges, and get creative with arts, crafts and cooking experiences. The program is designed so every day feels different – from themed activity days and relaxed summer play to special experiences that encourage teamwork, problem-solving and imagination. It’s set to be a vibrant holiday break where children can try new things, make new friends and create plenty of sunny memories together.

The program also offers flexibility for families, with the benefit of the Child Care Subsidy helping reduce fees by up to 90 per cent. Spaces are limited, so we encourage families to book early to secure a place in what promises to be a memorable holiday program school holidays. Reminder to book in soon to secure your spot.

IMPORTANT REMINDERS!

If you would like your child to attend our service, it is essential that you have booked them in through Fully Booked, submitted any medical documentation and updated your child’s enrolment, ensuring all medical conditions are listed on their enrolment. It’s important for our staff to understand these conditions and have the appropriate training, to look after your children. Your child will not be able to attend until our staff have this medical information.
