Our third meeting in Term 4, was held on November 26.
Students provided responses to having fans installed in the stadium and the community event of November 16. Responses were collated and sent to School Council to assist in responding to the effect of funding, provided by the Northeast Link Community Fund to install the fans and run our school community event.
Here are their responses:
2AO: The rides were really good, thank you for making the event so much fun.
34T: Thank you for our fans, they are keeping us cool on hot days when we are doing sport, so we appreciate what you have done.
5PT : I think the fans are a good addition to our stadium because it’s annoying when it’s hot.
5PT: We appreciate the grant, if it wasn't for it, we would be too hot in the stadium.
5CE: We are very grateful for the financial commitment to the school fair because it added more fun things to do.
6SB : I loved all the rides and the inflatables because they were so much fun to ride on.
6SB: I think the MeltDown ride was the most popular, because it was safe but exciting.
Mrs H: Our end of year graduation night has often been plagued by hot weather, exacerbated by an unforgiving tin roof. Staff and students are very grateful for the funds that installed the fans and are looking forward to a cooler night of celebrations at our forthcoming graduation ceremony.
Many thanks to School council and Carmen Yiu for for their enterprise and support in facilitating these additions and event for BPPS.
JSC also collated messages and completed a Christmas card for Shelyne.
There will be a last free dress day, date TBC.
Gold coins to be donated to the Leukaemia Foundation.
Dress theme: Your favourite colour, sensible and sun smart of course.
Our next, and last meeting, will be on December 10 .
