🐹 Exciting News from the Piggery & the Garden!

We’re thrilled to announce a very special new addition to our piggery - a baby guinea pig! This adorable newcomer has already captured hearts, and now it’s time for the whole school to get involved. We’ll be running a competition to choose the perfect name, so start thinking creatively and get ready to share your ideas. 

Meanwhile, our passionate Environmental Queen, Ms Ballot, along with a team of dedicated students and parents, will be representing our school at the Victorian Schools Garden Awards Ceremony at the Royal Botanic Gardens this week. We’re finalists in the category of Most Engaging Garden for Learning, and we can’t wait to find out if we’ve placed 1st, 2nd, or 3rd!

This is a wonderful celebration of our school’s commitment to sustainability, creativity, and community spirit. From caring for our animals to nurturing our garden, we’re proud of the way our students, staff, and families work together to make learning come alive.

Our new vegetable crates are looking great. We have planted basil, tomatoes, dill, rocket, sage and some beautiful flowers. Thanks to the younger students who are helping us keep them alive!
