Harmony Week

Harmony Week, Monday 17 - Friday 21st, March 2025

Harmony Week is celebrated throughout Australia in a week-long celebration of cultural diversity. Harmony Week has become a significant time for Australians to unite and celebrate our nation's cultural diversity. This year Harmony Week will be celebrated from 17 to 23 March 2025. Harmony Week is a week to celebrate Australian multiculturalism. It is an opportunity for all Australians to embrace cultural diversity and to share what we have in common. 

It’s about inclusiveness, respect and a sense of belonging for everyone.  Our shared Australian values of respect, equality and freedom go beyond our different cultures and are what makes Australia such a great place to live. The message of respect and belonging can be lived by each of us, every day, not just during Harmony Week. 

At Tarneit Senior College we are excited to celebrate Harmony Week with a variety of activities to get students involved and to celebrate community and inclusivity. This includes Cultural Dress Day, Athletics Day, House Dance Competition, Karaoke, Henna and Face Painting, Display Poster Boards and more!
