Presentation Evening 2023

On Thursday 7th December, WHSC celebrated students who had achieved amazing successes over the course of the year in a variety of different areas. 

The evening started with a 'changing over of the College Leaders' where the 2023 College Leaders handed over their blazers to the recently appointed 2024 College Leaders to symbolise the handing over of responsibilities to the new leaders. In between award presentations, we had performances from our College Choir which sang and signed 'We are Australian' by the Seekers and 'Don't Stop Me Know' by Queen. We were also lucky enough to have a performance from our musical Mamma Mia leads, providing an insight into what's to come in 2024. 

The awards were divided into two main categories: 

• REC (Respect, Creativity and Excellence) awards: these awards went to students who showcased and represented our College Values of Respect, Creativity and Excellence of the school year 
• Significant Awards - these awards went to students who received awards based on their merit and their integrity based on the criteria of the significant award
