Students Win Staff vs Students Week

Hey everyone!

During week 2 this term was Staff vs Student week and what an absolute blast everyone had!

We kicked it off with trivia where minds collided in a battle of wits with students barely managing to pull through with the win. Students up 1-0

Then came Netball where the teachers had a strong line up and had a strong lead the entire game. But in the final few minutes the students decided to lock in and score 4 points in a row to win 6-4 and run off with an overall 2-0 lead.

The biggest event of the week, Lip Sync Battle! What a show with our hosts giving us the funniest jokes and the staff having the most creative costumes we have ever seen such as Mario and Peach! 

The teachers had the stronger performances overall but us students had Arlochella, one of the best performances of all time with perfect choreography, lip sync ability and storytelling! We rounded off the event with a little romantic promposal ending with happily ever after. This allowed students to pull through with the win 3-0!

But the teachers weren’t done yet as Debating was on Thursday and the topic was ‘Are teenage years the best years of our lives?’ The students started off strong as the against but Ms Augoustou dealt a big blow with a very strong argument for the prompt allowing the teachers to snag their first win 3-1.

The final event of the week was Just Dance and what a performance from Mr Tran and the teachers! But students weren’t going to let this slide as they pulled up with their best moves. After a long hard battle, it ended in a … draw?!?

After the whole week the final score was 3.5-1.5 meaning students win this year!!! A massive thank you to all the students and staff who participated!
