Secondary & VCE - Subject Selection Information Evenings

As students prepare for the next stage of their educational journey, we were delighted to welcome families back to Term 3 with our Subject Selection Information Evenings, designed to support students in making informed and confident decisions about their future studies.
Year 9 & 10 Subject Selection Evening for 2027
On Wednesday 15th of July, students and families attended our Year 9 and 10 Subject Selection Information Evening. The session provided an overview of the wide range of elective subjects available and highlighted the importance of selecting subjects that align with students' interests, strengths, and future aspirations.
Faculty leaders and teachers shared valuable insights into course content, assessment requirements, and the skills students can expect to develop in each subject. Families also had the opportunity to ask questions and speak directly with teaching staff, helping students gain a clearer understanding of the learning opportunities available as they continue through their secondary education.
Choosing subjects is an important milestone, and we encourage students to consider both their passions and long term goals while remaining open to exploring new areas of interest.
VCE Information Evening for 2027
Our VCE Information Evening on Wednesday 29th of July provided Year 10 students and their families with an in-depth introduction to the Victorian Certificate of Education (VCE) and the opportunities it offers.
The evening explored the structure and requirements of VCE, including Unit 1–4 studies, assessment methods, attendance expectations, and the commitment required to achieve success. Staff discussed the academic demands of senior schooling, effective study habits, and the importance of balancing coursework, extracurricular commitments, and personal wellbeing.
We thank all students, parents and carers who attended the evening and extend our sincere appreciation to our teaching staff and faculty leaders for sharing their expertise and guidance, helping students confidently plan the next stage of their educational journey.
We look forward to supporting our students as they finalise their subject selections and continue working towards their future goals.
