Secondary Assistance Scheme
The State Government, through the Department of Education, introduced an allowance to assist eligible families with secondary schooling costs. Eligible parents and guardians with students enrolled in Years 7 to 12 studying a full-time secondary course at a Western Australian non-government school can apply for the Secondary Assistance Scheme (SAS) in 2026. As applications do not carry forward to future years, parents and guardians must apply for the SAS each school year.
To be eligible, the parent or guardian must hold a Services Australia (Centrelink) or Veterans Affairs Card that represents a statement of income for the family.
St Norbert College will accept applications by email to our Finance Officer, provided it is completed by the card holder and a copy of both sides of the concession card is sent with the application.
Applications close 2 April 2026
