Titration Competition - ATAR Chemistry
Last Tuesday, a few of our ATAR Chemistry students travelled to Curtin University to compete in the Titration Competition, facilitated by the Royal Australian Chemical Institute.
The competition gives students the opportunity to work in a real university laboratory and put their practical chemistry skills to the test. Working in teams, students carefully carried out a series of experiments to identify the concentration of an unknown solution. Their results are then compared against the actual concentration, with teams ranked on the accuracy of their findings.
The evening was a fantastic opportunity for our students to experience university-level science, develop their laboratory skills, and challenge themselves alongside other aspiring student chemists.
We are incredibly proud of their enthusiasm, teamwork, and dedication throughout the competition.
