Knitting Club

The St Norbert College Knitting Club meets twice a week and are busy learning a new skill and sharing their love of knotting and crocheting with others. We always welcome donations of wool. If you have a surplus supply, please bring it to Student Ministry.

Last week we presented many blankets, both big and small to the Cancer House in Bali and recently we gave Wheel Chairs for Kids around 100 small planets that are provided to each child who is given a wheel chair through this charity group.

Sneakers and runners for primary school children

St Joseph’s in Kununurra have asked us for a special request this year. They would really appreciate sneakers and runners for primary school aged children - in used condition. If you have some of these, please drop them into Student Ministry and we will take them to our Immersion. Please reach out to family and friends who have young children and perhaps ask them too. All donations are gratefully appreciated.

Yr 11 Retreat Day

This is a reminder to Year 11 students that your Retreat Day is on Monday 22 June. Here is some very important information pertaining to the Retreat:

Morning tea (a chocolate muffin) is provided.
A pizza lunch is provided.
Bring a water bottle.
Wear your Full College tracksuit for the day. Please wear College appropriate footwear.
On the morning of the Retreat, please attend Homeroom to get marked present and then meet your RE teacher outside the Xanten Theatre.
Bring any medications that you require for the day.
It is essential that you bring in some non perishable food items or toiletries to donate to one agency that you heard about throughout the Retreat. This donation is required at the end of the day at the Liturgy. You will be given time to go back to your locker to get this donation.
