Year 7

Year 7 Update – End of Semester One
As we approach the end of Semester One, it is wonderful to reflect on the journey our Year 7 students have undertaken since beginning high school earlier this year. Transitioning to a new school environment is a significant milestone, and our students should be incredibly proud of how successfully they have embraced this change.
Throughout the semester, students have navigated new routines, built friendships, developed their independence, and become valued members of our College community. Their resilience, enthusiasm, and willingness to engage in new experiences have been a pleasure to witness.
At the end of term, students will receive their first full semester report. This provides an excellent opportunity to celebrate achievements, acknowledge personal growth, and reflect on the progress made so far. We encourage students to use this time to identify strengths and set meaningful goals for Semester Two.
For those students who feel they would benefit from additional support in certain areas, our Mathematics, English, and Year 7 Homework Clubs continue to operate throughout the week from Tuesday to Thursday. These sessions offer students the opportunity to receive guidance, build confidence, and develop their skills in a supportive, small-group environment.
As Semester One draws to a close, I would like to thank our students, staff, and families for their ongoing support. We wish everyone a safe, restful, and enjoyable break and look forward to welcoming our Year 7 students back in July for another exciting semester of learning and growth.
