Grade 2 News

Welcome back to Term 3! 

We hope everyone had a wonderful break. It has been great to see the students return with happy attitudes and ready to learn. 

In Writing, we have continued our learning on 'how to write an information report'. This term we will be researching and writing about Bilbies and locations in Australia.  

In Mathematics, our focus is multiplication and division. We will explore equal groups, sharing, and simple multiplication and division strategies. 

In Religion we are learning about Life at the Time of Jesus and what daily life was like during biblical times. 

In Science, we have begun our exciting unit on Dinosaurs, where we will learn about different dinosaurs, fossils, and how scientists discover information about the past. 

In Humanities, we are learning about Connections to Country and the importance of caring for the places where we live. 

We look forward to another fun and successful term of learning!
