Introducing 'New' Staff

My name is Clarissa Harry, and I am thrilled to have joined Christway at the start of this year. I am currently teaching Year 8 English and Humanities and have loved getting to know all of my students this year. Before becoming a teacher here, I graduated from Australian Catholic University last year, where I completed a Bachelor of Education in Primary and Secondary Teaching.

It is incredibly surreal to now be a teacher at Christway, as I was a student here myself for many years and graduated in 2017. Coming back to Christway as a teacher has been such a rewarding experience, allowing me to be a part of the community once again. It has been wonderful seeing familiar faces while also building new relationships.

The warm and close-knit community here at the school, along with the wonderful people, has made my return such a blessing. It is also incredible to be working in an environment that centres God in everything and encourages students to develop a relationship with Him.

In the future, I look forward to teaching and getting to know more students as my journey continues. Outside of teaching, I love spending time with my family, friends and dog, going to the cinema, reading, travelling the world, and taking part in other activities.
