Spring Carnival

On Friday, 5 September under the beautiful Spring sunshine students and staff enjoyed dressing up and cheering on their House at Mater Dei's Spring Carnival. Students paraded their finest faux suits and dresses during the recess fashions on the fields, with best dressed prizes awarded across a variety of categories!

During lunch Year 12 Jockeys and their trainers participated in the race that stops the College in the Edmunds Plate and Fitzgerald Cup. House jockeys and riders battled their way through the course, with  Webber's 4th Times a Charm and Sherrin's Goldilocks for their respective wins.

Congratulations to all our jockeys, trainers, fashionistas and House supporters for making the day such a fun day!

Year 12 Staff vs Students

The annual Staff vs Student Games took place on the courts last week, and what a competition it was!  The competition consisted of three rounds: volleyball, netball and dodgeball. Year 12 gave it their best shot, but staff proved too strong, taking out an easy win across all three rounds.

Year 12 Games Night

It was a fun night at the College for Year 12 Games Night.  Lots of great costumes were paraded in the Hall and the mix of trivia and games showed off some fantastic endurance skills, plenty of laughs and overall, everyone was a winner.  Thank you to staff who helped on the night, and thank you Year 12 for a fun night.
