Drama

Year 9

Year 9 Drama students have been working hard this term developing their own short films from scratch. From brainstorming, writing, creating, developing and editing, the Year 9 Drama class have taken on a range of creative roles to make their short film project ideas come to life. All groups have worked diligently to adapt their scenes for different road-blocks, but have created some interesting, engaging and creative short films. 

Year 11

Year 11 Drama finished off their last term by studying the Elements of Production in Drama. Students studied the Australian text ‘Picnic at Hanging Rock’ by Joan Lindsay and were asked to develop all creative elements in a specific scene of the play. Year 11 have collaborated, discussed and developed their production department to make sure the scene was aesthetically pleasing, as well as cohesive amongst their peers. Although this is their last term as Year 11 Drama, students will embark on their Year 12 Drama journey next term. 

Popstars

Staff and students of Popstars gathered together on the 22nd September in the PAC to watch the final, finished recording of our school musical. Students sang, danced and enjoyed watching the performance from an audience perspective, and was a wonderful final celebration of our Popstars musical.
