2026 Student Leadership Team
It is with immense pride that I announce the appointment of our Student Leadership Team for the 2026 academic year. This is always a landmark moment in the school calendar, representing a passing of the torch and the beginning of a new chapter of student representation.
The selection of our new leaders followed a comprehensive and rigorous process, designed to identify students who demonstrate the character and commitment essential for leadership. Crucially, these students enjoy the confidence and respect of both their peers and the teaching staff. This broad backing is a testament to their established positive influence within our school community and ensures their voices will be heard and their initiatives strongly supported.
Role of Our Leaders
The 2026 Student Leadership Team will play a vital role in our college, serving as:
Ambassadors: Representing Parkdale Secondary College at school and community events.
Voice of the Students: Bridging communication between the student body and the school administration.
Role Models: Demonstrating the college values of respect, excellence, and resilience every day.
Change agents: Driving positive change through student-led projects and initiatives.

Celebrating Excellence: A Night to Remember at COSA
It was a night to remember at COSA - our annual Celebration of Student Achievement – as we formally acknowledged and applauded the hard work, dedication, and outstanding accomplishments of our students across all year levels. Frankston Arts Centre was filled with warmth and pride as parents, staff, and peers came together to celebrate our award recipients. The COSA evening is more than just a presentation of awards; it is a powerful demonstration of the collective pursuit of excellence that defines Parkdale Secondary College. At COSA, we celebrate students who exemplify our school motto Pergo et Perago - Strive and Achieve. Awards were presented in four categories:
Achieve Awards celebrate students who have excelled academically or on the sporting field, achieving the highest standards through dedication and hard work.
Strive Awards recognise students who diligently pursue their goals and show resilience in overcoming challenges.
Community Awards will honour students who have taken on leadership roles, both formally and informally, and who demonstrate a strong work ethic and a passion for contributing to our school and the wider community.
Challenge Awards recognise students who have shown resilience and perseverance. Recipients are recognised for their determination to improve, their ability to overcome obstacles and their capacity to thrive in difficult situations.
