Fit 4 Life Program

We have just completed our last CONNECT Fit 4 Life block for 2026; a dynamic and rewarding experience designed to support the students’ physical, mental, and social wellbeing. Congratulations to the Year 9 cohort for participating and engaging in all aspects of the program.

Throughout each block, students participated in a wide range of activities aimed at promoting healthy habits, teamwork, and personal growth. Highlights included two exciting excursions. The first took them to the Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG), where they enjoyed a behind-the-scenes tour, explored the Australian Sports Museum, and tested their skills in the interactive Game On space. The second excursion was to the St Kilda Football Club, where students took part in a mental fitness session at the Danny Frawley Centre, followed by two physical sessions focusing on fitness and Pilates.

Back at school, students had the opportunity to build connections with the community by facilitating a games session for the four-year-old children from Kingston Kindergarten, who visited for a morning of fun and laughter. Another highlight was a half-day walk to Parkdale Beach and Mordialloc, where students enjoyed time outdoors, shared lunch with peers, and reflected on the importance of staying active and socially connected.

Overall, the Fit 4 Life program was a fantastic six-week block filled with energy, engagement, and positive contributions to health and wellbeing. Students embraced every opportunity to challenge themselves, connect with others, and learn the value of a balanced lifestyle.
