CHES Activities week for High ability Year 9 students

On Thursday Dec 4th a group of nine high ability English students from year 9 (2025) attended a Creative Writing Workshop at CHES (Centre for Higher Education Studies).  Students travelled together on the train to attend this whole day workshop in South Yarra.  Students were working with author Jenna Lo Bianco. Students took part in speed writing, work with AI-generated visual prompts, and used music to inspire writing style and voice. There was extended time to develop and refine their own creative pieces, supported by insights from Jenna’s professional experience as a published author.
