Inquiry Term 2
In Term 2, the students will be focussing on the following areas of the curriculum:
Prep: Personal and Social capability and Design Technologies
Year 1/2: Science: Physical, Space and Chemical
Year 3: History - focussing on pre, during and immediately after colonisation
Year 4: Design Technologies - using the OLSC design process to solve problems
Year 5: Geography - with a focus on continents and how we build culture
Year 6: Geography - with a focus on map reading and making
Learning and Teaching Closure Day
On Thursday the 2nd of April the staff focussed on furthering our understanding of the MACS Vision for Instruction. We explored the instructional heirarchy of learning, what responsive teaching is and how we already do this at OLSC and then refined the strategies of responsive teaching through opportunities to respond.
