Easter Greetings!

Easter 50 Days: More Than Just a Single Sunday

Jesus’ Resurrection is the greatest moment in history. Sin was defeated, death lost its power, and heaven was opened to us. One day isn’t enough to celebrate something that huge. That’s why the Church gives us a full Easter Season of 50 days to soak in the joy, the hope, and the life-changing power of the Resurrection.

Scripture Behind the 50-Day Celebration

After Jesus rose, He appeared to His disciples many times over 40 days, teaching, encouraging, and preparing them. Then He ascended into heaven… and 10 days later, the Holy Spirit came at Pentecost.

So... this Easter, and every Easter...

Don’t rush past it.

Let Easter stretch out. Let it breathe. Let it change you.

Because the joy of the Resurrection isn’t meant to last one day —it’s meant to shape your whole life.

Sacrament on First Eucharist

Please keep in your prayers the students from OLSC who will be celebrating the Sacrament of First Eucharist over the coming months. The celebrations will be part of the next two Community Masses. We invite our entire school community to join us for these very special celebrations.

We kindly request that our First Communicants arrive no later than 15 minutes before the start of Mass - this will ensure they can collect their sacramental stole and pin, direct their families to their seats, and participate in the opening procession.

A wonderful way to prepare to receive Jesus in the Eucharist is to arrive early and spend some moments in prayer. We encourage you to arrive early so that you can prepare your hearts for the special gift of Jesus.
