Year 7 Transition Friendship and Resilience Project Workshops
Over the next two weeks, Year 7 students will be participating in a special friendship and positive relationship-building workshop. The Wellbeing Team is excited to see whether students have learnt all of each other’s names in their new classes and to discover the positive attributes they look for when making new friends.
The workshops will also include a reflection activity using their beautiful Resilience Project Student Planners that they were each given on day 1.
Year 10 Wellbeing Afternoon
On Wednesday, our year 10 students spent the afternoon engaged in a range of activities, allowing them to have some fun with their peers. Students chose to run around like mad people in ‘Minute to Win It’ challenges, relax and get creative with some clay and art supplies, test their memories in trivia or work on their master chef skills doing some cooking. A special mention must go to the group of students who, due to our recent building works, were displaced from the kitchen and made the best of our BBQs. If you are ever after a gourmet choc chip pancake, Zach, Matt, Camden and Jackson are your go-to guys – delicious!
