Student Representative Council Update
The SRC has had a busy start to the term! Among other activities, we have completed the International Women’s Day mural, kicked off the 2026 composting initiative, organised our first Whole-School Assembly and ran a fundraising BBQ at the House Tournament. We are thrilled to report that the BBQ raised over $1,000 for the Royal Children's Hospital Good Friday Appeal.
A big thank you to all the students who helped out – your support makes these events possible. Another fundraising BBQ is planned for the Athletics Carnival at the end of term, so stay tuned.
Looking ahead, we are excited for Harmony Week on the week commencing 16th of March, featuring the popular Melting Pot Buffet and other special events to be announced soon. With International Women’s Day approaching on the 8th of March, our mural will take pride of place in the celebrations before being moved to our Reception foyer for everyone to enjoy.

Peer Support gets underway
Our Year 9 Peer Support commenced their first session with the Year 7 students, focusing on getting to know each other and establishing group norms. Through fun icebreaker activities, students began building trust and a sense of community within their groups.
It was a great start to the program, with Year 9 leaders showing enthusiasm and Year 7s engaging positively. We look forward to seeing these connections grow throughout the term.
Thank you to all of our Year 9 Peer Support Leaders for their commitment and passion for the program.
