Passion Projects

This year, our Year 7 and 8 students are enjoying their Passion Projects, a new Wednesday afternoon program where they can explore activities they love, or discover something completely new! 

With options ranging from AFL, Netball, Basketball and Soccer to Ceramics, Photography, Master Chef, Lego and Robotics, Minecraft, French, Junior Production, Crafternoon and even Escape Rooms, there’s something for everyone. Students get the chance to try new things, get creative, solve problems, and work with friends old and new.

Some of the highlights from our students:

• "I like art and can create whatever I want"

• "I like my passion project because I get to go to escape rooms and try to escape - you also get to know more about games"  

• I get to do escape rooms and it is really fun"

• "Minecraft is fun, spending time with friends and trying new things"

• "I like playing netball so it is great to have an actual class doing it"

• "It is great knowing how to make new things (in Master Chef)" 

• "I love cooking"

• "I chose photography because I thought it would be fun, and it is"

• "I like soccer"

• "Minecraft is a fun passion project...trying new things"

Passion Projects aren’t just fun, they help students think creatively, collaborate, and build confidence, all while exploring the things that excite them. We can’t wait to see what they will create and discover next.
