Impressive Year 10 Photography
Our Year 10 students have demonstrated impressive skill in exploring depth of field to capture subjects of a particular colour. They experimented with different aperture settings, discovering how a small aperture (eg. F36) keeps distant objects in focus, while a wide aperture (eg. F4) focuses on the subject closest to the camera and creates a beautifully blurred background.
Using Photoshop, students then carefully arranged and layered their photographs within a grid, creating striking visual compositions.
The resulting artworks are now on display for our community in the Reception foyer.
Congratulations to Pavlos, Adam, and Ella for their outstanding work!
Year 9 Textiles: Stunning Backpacks
Our Year 9 Textiles students have been busy designing and creating their own backpacks. Using a pattern, they decorated each section with fabric painting before carefully sewing the pieces together. This project helps students develop both their machine sewing and decorative skills through thoughtful planning and hands-on creativity.
Congratulations to Sienna from 9A and Alexis from 9C on their beautiful finished backpacks!
