Year 10 Update

Making Memories in Marysville

Embracing opportunities was the theme for Year 10s this term and that is what they have certainly done. In the past two weeks alone Year 10 students have been involved in the Spring Concert, camp, Caulfield Grammar School’s Black and White Ball and Connor's Run. I thoroughly enjoyed my time away with the group on camp and wish them a well-deserved break.

I really loved camp this year! I particularly enjoyed the high ropes and the walk to the town of Marysville. After visiting the lolly shop, it was so much fun walking back to camp in the rain. Then we did high ropes where I stood on 20 crates. I did the giant ladder with Grace and we were pleased to reach the top.
The best moment was when the whole year level was in one cabin! We had so much fun together while it lasted- for 10 minutes.  - Maria

I really enjoyed this camp and I don’t have any regrets going because I gained stronger bonds with my class mates and learnt more about them. I loved the activities that we did and the food we ate. I also learnt more about myself and what I enjoy on camps and what I dislike. I thought it was a really nice last camp to finish my time at Shelford with. Overall I loved this camp and I reflected on a lot about my time at Shelford and my peers. Thank you!  - Scarlett H
