School Holiday Program
Moonlit Sanctuary is a wildlife conservation park in Pearcedale where visitors can see Australia’s amazing native animals and learn about their conservation. It’s all about helping people connect with wildlife and understand why protecting them is so important.
Their School Holiday Programs are a real highlight. Run by our Education Officers, they’re packed with hands-on activities, animal encounters, and loads of fun. Kids get to learn about conservation and how to care for native wildlife in an engaging and interactive way.
Coming Up in 2025...
The Rainbow Alliance are going to Pride March 2025!
Following the success of our first Pride March early 2024, The Frankston High School Rainbow Alliance has decided they are going to do it again in 2025!!
The Rainbow Alliances participation in Pride March 2025 is a voluntary event for any students, and staff, who want to take part in expressing their support for the LGBTQIA+ student community of Frankston High School. Participants are encouraged to dress in their best rainbow pride outfit, the brighter the better! Be aware that it is usually a very hot day so sun protection is a must. We would like to extend the invitation to family members to join us, as students will need to make their own way to and from the event. Alternatively, you are welcome to drop your young people, watch from the sidelines, and pick them up afterwards - don’t forget to take photos!
It’s a fun family friendly day out, with plenty to do afterwards.
Where: Meeting at the Ian Johnson Oval on the corner of Lakeside Drive and Fitzroy St- further details will be on compass with a consent form.
When: Sunday 2 February, meeting time 9.30am
Who: Any students, staff and family members who want to take part and show pride in themselves or support for the LGBTQIA+ student body of Frankston High School
What: Wear your best rainbow pride outfit, bring your homemade posters, march with pride!
Students will need to be dropped off and picked up by a parent or carer, before and after the march at the allocated times and places. Please be sure to have sun protection and a water bottle, it is always very hot.
Please email The Wellbeing Team with an expression of interest so we can add you to the compass event- parents/carers will then be given access to the online consent form via compass.

Dear Valued Customer
Further to our previous correspondence (15 November) regarding the launch of our new Mornington store at 61 Watt Road, Mornington, we regret to inform you that the opening has been delayed. Due to unforeseen circumstances, including a shortage of materials and other contributing factors, the new opening date is now scheduled for Thursday January 2nd, 2025.

We sincerely apologise for any inconvenience this may cause to your school, your community, and any plans that may have been impacted by this change. Please be assured that we are working diligently to address these challenges and ensure the store is completed to the highest standard.
We greatly value your support and understanding and remain committed to bringing our new Mornington store to life as a vibrant addition to the community. Should you have any questions or require further information, please do not hesitate to reach out.
